The properties of the HECO-TOPIX-plus countersunk head screw are completely designed for structural timber construction. The full thread enables the transmission of high tensile and compressive forces. At the same time, it significantly reduces the number of fixing points required. The optimum thread pitch makes screwing in easier and quicker. In addition, the patented HECO-TOPIX point ensures a reduced splitting effect and enables fast screw fastening without pre-drilling or countersinking. The result: fast and secure installation with up to 30 percent less processing effort. The countersunk head design enables universal use for both wood-to-wood and steel-to-wood connections.

The properties of the HECO-TOPIX-plus cylinder head screw are designed specifically for timber construction. It boasts a cylinder head that can be easily sunk into the wood. The full thread allows the transfer of high tensile and compressive forces. At the same time, it significantly reduces the number of fastening points required. The optimal thread pitch ensures easier and quicker insertion. What’s more, the patented HECO-TOPIX tip reduces the splitting effect and enables fast screwing without pre-drilling or countersinking. The result: quick and safe assembly with up to 30 per cent less processing time.

HECO-VB wood-concrete composite screw

When renovating, it is often sensible or even necessary to reinforce existing ceilings. The HECO-VB wood-concrete composite system avoids the demolition of existing wooden ceilings and the construction of new concrete structures. Valuable building fabric can thus be preserved and the interesting combination of wood and concrete opens up new design possibilities. The timber beam absorbs the tensile forces, while the concrete acts as a pressure plate. The shear-resistant connection is achieved using single or crossed VB fasteners. This reduces the deflection of the ceiling construction and massively increases the load-bearing capacity. The HECO-VB composite system can now also be used with multi-span beams. At the same time, the fire and sound insulation properties can be significantly improved.

HECO-WS self-drilling dowel

You can assemble high-quality steeltimber joints using the HECO-WS system. The dowels are inserted in the timber and through the steel plates in a single, time-saving operation without pilot drilling. 3 steel plates up to 5 mm thick or 1 steel plate with up to 10 mm thick can be penetrated (steel grade: S235). Producing joints for framework structures has been a complicated process to date. The new HECO®-WS system reduces the procedure to a few operating steps: 1. fitting the steel plate 2. aligning and fixing it in position 3. inserting the dowel
