For the 21st time, the German tool trade has chosen its best suppliers. HECO was once again recognised with an award, coming third in the fastening technology product range category. Particularly pleasing were the top marks retailers gave the screw manufacturer for its loyalty to specialist dealers.
The annual specialist trade partner awards, organised by the Working Committee for Tools (‘Arbeitskreis Werkzeuge’ (AKW)) of the Central Trade Association for Household Hardware (‘Zentralverband Hartwarenhandel e.V.’ (ZHH)), saw HECO-Schrauben perform very well, securing third place in the fastening technology category. Individual ratings from various categories were included in the survey result, including sales support, data and digitisation quality as well as complaint handling. In the dealer loyalty category, HECO is clearly ahead of its competitors. HECO also performs better than average in the sales support, product innovation, data and digitisation quality, and complaint handling categories. Andreas Hettich, Head of Business Development at HECO: “We would like to thank all of the specialist dealers who helped us to achieve the best rating in our segment in the specialist retail loyalty category. In turn, we are doing our best to improve the cooperation with our specialist dealers across all areas.”
Meticulous, high-quality services
With its range of workshops at the HECO Academy, HECO makes a significant contribution to supporting specialist dealers. Specialist dealers have the opportunity to take part in specialist trade training courses tailored to their needs and to be trained as HECO specialist consultants as part of an advanced workshop. An important service tool from which processors, in particular, benefit and which is recommended by specialist dealers is the free calculation software HCS. In addition, consultants at HECO are personally available to dealers and processors and ensure that enquiries are processed promptly within 24 hours.
The Partner for Specialist Trade awards are organised annually by the Working Committee for Tools (‘Arbeitskreis Werkzeuge’ (AKW)) of the Central Trade Association for Household Hardware (‘Zentralverband Hartwarenhandel e.V.’ (ZHH)). The survey is addressed to the approximately 1,500 specialist dealers throughout Germany who make up the Arbeitskreis Werkzeuge, and evaluates manufacturers from the fields of hand tools, precision tools, factory equipment, fastening technology, occupational safety, grinding/cutting materials, measuring instruments and chemical products.
