HECO was honoured with the coveted TOP 100 seal 2023 for its innovative strength, which is demonstrated among other things by the HECO-TOPIX-plus wood construction screw. Ranga Yogeshwar, well-known science journalist and mentor of the innovation competition, presented the award at the ceremony on 23 June in Augsburg.
Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 seal for special innovative strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized companies. In the scientific selection process for the innovation award, HECO-Schrauben was particularly impressive in size category C (more than 200 employees) in the "Innovation success" category. Targeted planning and creative thinking drive new and further developments in the company that are orientated towards the requirements of the market. "Inclusion in the TOP 100 club impressively underlines HECO's innovative strength, both internally for our employees and externally for our customers and users," emphasises Andreas Hettich, Head of Business Development at HECO.
The particular innovative strength of the fastening specialist HECO can currently be seen in the HECO-TOPIX-plus wood construction screw. It combines the best properties from four previous ranges - including the already ground-breaking contraction effect of the fully threaded screws. Further innovations have been added, such as the "GripFit" technology: thanks to the perfectly harmonised HECO-Drive (HD) drive concept, the screw holds firmly to the bit mechanically instead of with magnets and therefore also works with stainless steel screws. This innovative feature is a great relief in the everyday work of processors.
