The HECO-TOPIX-plus Flange head screw is specially designed for wood construction applications. It features a larger head diameter and is able to transfer considerably higher loads, due to the increased clamping surface. In addition, the amount of required fastening points is significantly reduced. The part-threaded version features shank ribs, which reduce the driving torque and ensure a tension-free connection. Easy and quick insertion is enabled by the optimally formed thread pitch. Further, the patented HECO-TOPIX-plus tip ensures a reduced splitting of timber, and allows a quick processing without pre-drilling and sinking.

The HECO-TOPIX-plus CombiConnect is an ETA-certified double-threaded screw, specially developed for the transmission of high compressive and tensile loads in wood construction applications. It features two threads with different thread-pitches, and enables a contraction of the construction components. The transmission of loads is done axially via the thread. This allows significantly higher tensile loads compared to conventional part-threaded screws. The HECO-TOPIX-plus CombiConnect can be processed quickly and without splitting, and ensures an easy and user friendly handling.

The double-threaded screw HECO-TOPIX-plus Therm is specially made for the processing of pressure-soft insulating materials. With its two threads it enables offset-mounting, where the counter batten is fixed by the secondary thread. Wind suction or compressive loads are taken solely by the thread in the counter batten, and are transferred directly into the rafters. This prevents the impressing of the counter batten into the insulation. Compared to conventional fastening applications the HECO-TOPIX-plus Therm provides advantages in handling and material costs. In combination with the HECO-TOPIX-plus CombiConnect it forms an additional system for the efficient on-rafter and facade insulation. Here, the occuring shear loads are taken by a combination of shear block and the HECO-TOPIX-plus CombiConnect. This system requires significantly less fastening points compared to conventional solutions.
